ANDRE D’ELIA, Principal
B. Arch, OAA, MRAIC
Since founding superkül in 2002, Andre D’Elia has provided leadership and exceptional client service on a number of superkül projects, including the recently completed +HOUSE, Newmarket Community Centre, SPLIT House and SHIFT Cottage. Andre is a registered architect with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) and a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (MRAIC). He is a member of the Toronto Community Housing Design Review Panel, and an OAA mentor.
Andre is well known for his listening skills and affable leadership style, and a strong aptitude for design and construction. His areas of expertise include sustainable design, construction detailing and sequencing and the redevelopment of heritage and existing properties at all scales.
Born in Toronto, Andre D’Elia received his professional architecture degree from Carleton University, graduating with distinction, interning in Italy before returning to KPMB Architects as a project architect on a number of award-winning projects, including the Richmond City Hall in British Columbia, which received a Governor General’s Medal for Excellence in Architecture in 2002.
