We are honoured to have two of our projects profiled in the recently published book Canadian Contemporary: The Northern Home. Representing the diversity of Superkül’s single-family residential portfolio, multiple-award-winning Compass House and Valley House respond to their specific environments of country and city in a subtle and considered fashion while meeting the unique needs of their inhabitants. A foreword by Avi Friedman provides a unifying perspective with respect to variations in climate and landscape across this vast country, while acknowledging issues of sustainability and material innovation that are addressed in the featured homes.
